EBC is gearing up early this year!
EBC 2010 will be Nov 4-7, 2010
In order to save you money in what may be a rough year economically for a lot of people, we're opening registration early this year.
What do you get in exchange for registering early?
Well how about $65 off the final EBC price for the first 50 people?
That good enough for you? Besides, registering early is the next best thing to being cool, and you know you want to be cool, or a close approximation of cool. So get over to http://www.ibalboa.com and register today!
What's new with EBC this year? Man, oh man, where to begin?
• EBC is 4 days this year!!! Kicking things off Thurs night and going through Sun night!
• 19 confirmed instructors and we will be adding more! This gives you the most choices for main instructors over any other Balboa event!
• Fri classes! That's right, be sure to come in early and catch the dance Thurs night and classes Fri!
• Burlesque classes! We're bringing in the ladies from Bootstraps Burlesque to offer 2 introductory free Burlesque classes! Burlesque 101 and Fans and/or Boas!
• New Amateur division
• Competition classes where amateurs can get immediate feedback in a controlled environment.
• Music by The Boilermaker Jazz Band and the Atomic Rhythm All-Stars
• Adding another room for classes for extra space
• Soul/Funk room downstairs
• Post-Halloween costume contest - streamlined from last year, still with cash prizes
• More volunteer opportunities if you cannot afford the full price of the weekend
• Afternoon prelims for competitions - more dance time and earlier notice to competitors!
• More dance time than any previous year!
• Over $2000 in prize money

Steve & Heidi start a new 4 week Balboa series TOMORROW!
Tuesday, March 9th-30th
7:15-8:15pm Beg. Balboa
(no dance experience needed)
8:15-9:15pm Int. Balboa
(must know basic, transition, come around, inside turn, back to basic)
You don't need a partner, just some leather or suede bottom shoes.
Come join us at:
Pasadena Senior Center's dance studio

Pasadena, CA
Entrance is in the back near the parking lot, by the park
Park in the lot, the street, or free 90 minutes next to Marriott on Raymond.
On the first night of the series please come 15 minutes early to register.
$48 for one person for one class
$85 for a couple for one class

It's my pleasure to announce that registration is open for the 2010 Beantown Camp!
Beantown is designed to be an all-inclusive vacation - a complete dance immersion. It's truly amazing what a week can do for your dancing and your spirit! There are multiple options, from weekend to the whole shebang, all of which offer you the unique experience that Beantown has to offer.
This is Beantown's 14th year and we're already feeling the positive energy. Here are some changes/additions for 2010:
* New additions to the always amazing staff.
* New additions to our live music line-up.
* An expansion on the mini-track concept with optional classes grouped into focused topics.
* The Show - our most exciting addition! On Sunday evening our incredibly talented instructors will be performing in the beautiful new Rose Performance Hall. This will be included with ALL registration packages.
