HAlloo!
For Feb 18 our next TSS we are proud to have back as our guest DJ's Augie Freeman and Vicky Chan.
http://thirdsaturdayswing.com
PLUS -
We are happy to introduce our Third Saturday Workshop!
http://one2swing.com/workshop/20120218
Same location and same day as TSS. Workshop time is 1pm to 4pm.
We will have them from time to time (probably not every single Third Saturday but fairly often) and introduce a variety of teachers, topics, and levels.
For the Feb 18 workshop, Sheri and I will be teaching an intermediate Lindy hop workshop "Getting To The Next Level".
To qualify, you should be able to do the Lindy basic plus variations fairly easily (without thinking of the footwork) at about 150bpm comfortably
We will be focusing on all fundamental technique the first hour and using the Lindy Basic as a reference. As we expect a wide variety of levels of intermediate Lindy, we plan to be able to cover all comers
We'll also cover our favorite steps and stylings to dress up your Lindy Basic (like all those times as a follow you're left out there to do something? This class is for you! Guys ..all those times you leave her out to do something, here are things you can do to help that along!)
And finally two common moves: passes and tuck turns - We'll utilize these "simple" moves to the fullest to really extend the dance and floor spacing and add some nice dynamics to your dance!
AND THE BEST PART: Register early and pre-pay early and get some nice little gifts including a discount rate AND free entry into TSS that night!
Details? Right here

Cheers!
