Enter the Blues presents the Do-It-Yourself Weekend
Atlanta, GA
February 19-21, 2010

On February 19-21, 2010 we'll be offering space for you to get a taste of what's happening in the blues world with the Do-It-Yourself weekend. We'll be offering group classes, personal feedback, and making it super-easy for you to schedule private lessons with instructors. In addition to that, though, we'll be offering 3 rocking nights of dancing for you to get your boogie on. So come decide what you want to work on and how you want to improve your dancing! Registration opens December 1st for only $60!

Enter the Blues: LIVE BAND and DANCE PASSES!

Welcome, Gravediggers!

We're happy to reveal yet another fun surprise happening at EtB:DIY (which is coming on fast!). At the Sunday afternoon dance, we're delighted to bring you the Gravediggers! Known for their old-school charm and laid-back style, the Gravediggers might just be the most danceable band in Atlanta – they play for dancers every week.

Sunday Afternoon Dance Details!
Remember the beautiful vintage floors, delicious food, and great atmosphere of the Graveyard Tavern? Well, we worked up such an appetite that we decided to rent it out for our Sunday afternoon dance! Doors will open at 1, band will start at 1:30, and the bar will be wide open the whole time. And just in case you work up an appetite, the kitchen will open at 5, so you can get your nosh on.

Dance-Only Passes
For those of you who can't make the classes, we're offering a dance-only option for $40. While we highly recommend that every take advantage of the excellent instruction, we want everyone to be as involved as they can in the weekend! Dance-only registration will open on Thursday.

Masters Sessions
We're running dangerously low on spots for the masters sessions – several spots have sold out for follows! So ladies, if you want to get the most improvement you can get, be sure to register asap!

Registration, Housing and Volunteers

Registration
Registration is still open and will remain open until Wednesday Feb 17th so that everyone has a chance to register for Enter the Blues Do-It-Yourself weekend. We have a few spaces for leads in Master Classes, but it looks like there is only ONE follow spot in Master Classes that has not been filled, but don't worry ladies, you can still sign up for the full weekend of normal classes.

At the door prices apply after Feb 17th, at $80 for the full weekend and $45 for a dances only pass. Register here!

Housing
Housing is limited, so please remember that you do not officially have housing until you have received your housing email. We will do our best to accommodate everyone who has requested housing, but to have time to make all the assignments, housing will close on Wednesday Feb 10th, and we will do our best to send out the housing assignments this weekend. You will also be notified if we are unable to accommodate your request.
